I've had a passion for creating art since I was a child, always eager to explore new avenues. I began with sketches, paintings, and sculpture, then ventured into photography, videography, and digital art, which I quickly fell in love with. In 2020, I dabbled in jewelry making and enjoyed it for a time, and I also explored tattooing. I also performed as an Ethiopian traditional dancer and emcee for nine years.  Meanwhile, I studied computer science at the University of Manitoba for two years until I decided to dedicate myself to art.

 

While experimenting was exciting and fun, I often struggled to find a way to blend all my interests. I didn't want to have to pick just one. Then I discovered that art and creativity were the core of everything I loved, I founded By Zebene as a way to weave my various interests together.  

 

I don't adhere to a specific style because I find it challenging to confine my wide range of artistic expressions into one medium or approach. Each piece of art deserves its unique treatment, and I simply follow where my creativity leads me.​
